The purpose of the Bend-La Pine Instructional Technology Program is to assist students and staff in meeting the following Bend LaPine Continuous Improvement Plan goal:
All students will have access to and develop proficiency in utilizing technology to improve their academic achievement.
This work is supported by the following elements of the BLP Strategic Technology Plan:
★Development and staffing of the central Instructional Technology Program
★Technology planning and deployment efforts that are consistent with district and school level goals
★The development of a K-12 instructional technology scope and sequence
★Goals for student mastery of Oregon Educational Technology Standards by the end of 8th grade
★The design and implementation of a comprehensive professional development program for school administrators and instructional staff to assure that students meet Oregon Technology Standards and Essential Skills
