I have been teaching at Cascade Middle School for 22 years!  I love CMS and am especially proud of the math department and our accomplishments as a team.

We have a unique math team because we all work very closely  to plan lessons and work on our practice together.  We structure our classrooms and expectations in a very similar fashion and our focus is on what is best for our students. 

All of our tests, quizzes, and homework are the same and we grade using the same rubrics and expectations.  We feel that because of our common philosophy and teaching methods, students can easily move from one classroom to another or from one grade to the next with little disruption.

In my free time, I hang out with my dogs, my husband, and my friends.  I enjoy paddling outrigger canoes, surfskis, and stand up.  I also love to ride mountain bikes and road bikes, work out at the gym, hike, and walk my dogs.
