You are about to begin one of the best adventures of your life! In third grade, you can plan on working really, really hard. Why beat around the bush, right? But, since I’m being completely honest, I might as well also tell you that you’re also going to have amazing fun, because setting and attaining goals can be a real hoot! Third grade can take some adjusting for the whole family--As a precursor to the upper grades, you can expect some adjustments in homework, test taking, and expectations. Working hard alongside your friends and people who believe in you is ridiculously rewarding...and that’s my plan for you! And this, Mrs. Hewitt’s class website, is about to become your new best friend! It’s where you’ll find weekly class newsletters and assignments, changes in our schedule, special requests, important reminders, and even class procedures (because I know it’s hard to remember them all year long until you need them.)
